The Staff

Rev Alina Kanaski went o seminary at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and there fell in love with both Pittsburgh and pastoring. She was ordained in 2017 and was previously the pastor at Chartiers Valley United Presbyterian Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Saint John Lutheran Church. Her hobbies include reading, knitting, and going for slow walks where she might see ducklings.

Debbie Boughner studied piano and voice at Carnegie Mellon University and has a master’s degree in education. She teaches private voice and piano students for the Civic Light Opera Academy and offers coaching sessions for students. In addition to church work, Debbie has music directed or accompanied for many community theaters and local school districts. She is also a performer in community theaters. You may have seen her on stage at South Park Theatre, McKeesport Little Theatre, The Grand Theatre, Station Square Theatre or Stage 62.

Barb Bell is our Administrative Assistant and loves working with our congregation. She has a degree in Business/Marketing from West Liberty University. She is married to her best friend, Joe, and has 2 amazing adult kids, Mike and Nora.

John Dembiski has handled custodial duties and building maintenance since 2015. He keeps the building clean and makes necessary repairs. Previously he worked in the mechanical trade for 35 years.
