OUR HISTORY
We began as the Brentwood Presbyterian Mission in 1920. Our earliest meetings were held in homes, the Brentwood Municipal Building and then Moore School. Brentwood Presbyterian Church was organized by the Pittsburgh Presbytery in the Moore School auditorium in Brentwood, PA on May 5, 1929. Wanting a building of their own, the Sunday School made the first contribution of $10, designated to be applied to the “building fund”. Ground was broken at our current location in 1933 fcr what is currently our Geneva Room (the first sanctuary). As membership grew, a larger church was needed. Our current sanctuary was dedicated on May 2, 1954.
